Valve Adjusting Washer

The eccentrics are the component on the rocker arm that actually contacts the valve tip. They set the valve lash adjustment. Over time, the eccentrics themselves can wear causing difficulty in setting the correct lash. Also, the bolts can stretch/fatigue over time, reducing their ability to hold the eccentric in position. Replacing this worn hardware allows you to properly set and maintain the correct valve lash.
