Rocker Arm – Priced Each
Description
Old rockers need to be replaced when shaft/rocker clearance exceeds specification. It is also recommended to re-machine rocker pads or replace rockers when a new cam or rocker shafts are installed to ensure maximum valve train life.
Note: Rocker bushings may need to be honed to match rocker shaft clearance specification. Also carefully inspect rocker shafts for uneven wear and replace if needed. It is not recommended to install new rockers with a worn camshaft because the rocker pads and cam lobes wear in to each other. This can severely reduce the service life of both the new rockers and the cam. The cam shaft must be carefully inspected for wear and may need to be ground when installing new rockers.
